Nicole Brinkman--Owner & Chief Executive Officer
I am a New Ulm native and a 2000 graduate from NUHS. After high school, I moved to Florida and pursued a Marine Biology/Biochemistry degree from the University of Tampa. During my time in Tampa, I volunteered at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) and many of my homework projects consisted of snorkeling trips. During my junior year in college, my family had some serious health issues arise and it became clear that I was going to need to move back home. My parents graciously convinced me to not drop out of college, but to finish my time in Florida. I changed my degree to something I would be able to use back in MN. I graduated in 2004 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Environmental Science.
I have been working in home healthcare full time since 2005. In 2016 I worked with a team to create LDR Home Care, I was one of the founding directors. I have worked full-time with LDR since its inception and I am currently finishing up my MBA in Healthcare Administration. I have worn many hats with this agency, but am most proud of my recent new title as "owner". On June 14, 2022, I purchased LDR Home Care, and I am super pumped to be a woman business owner.
I look forward to continuing my mission to be a responsible employer and am committed to adding value to people's lives.
