DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (DSPs)
DSPs assist people to function with greater independence in the community so that they may remain living in their own homes. This is not to be confused with PCA care in which staff performs daily tasks (based on a checklist of needs for them); this is driven by the person's preferences while ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
DSPs do not do the work for the individuals, but they coach, train, review, and challenge concepts in order for individuals to meet their goals.

Looking for something a little more laid back? Homemaker and respite services are excellent options for those that want to make a difference and connect with people but are not wanting to be skills instructors.
HOMEMAKER
Homemaker services help a person manage general cleaning and household activities when they are unable to manage the activities independently. All homemaker providers monitor a person's well-being while in the home, including home safety.
RESPITE
Respite is short-term care services provided to a person when the person's primary caregiver is absent or needs relief. Respite staff provides the level of supervision and care that is necessary to ensure that the person's health, safety, and welfare are preserved.
We know "any body" is not "anybody", we aim to match staff with positions that are a good fit.
